- To promote and unify the Fire Companies of Westmoreland County
- To further the knowledge and interest of its membership in the improvement of acting fire fighting services.
- To advance fire safety practices

- To provide or support public service and schools of fire service instruction
- To provide a unified front supporting and protecting beneficial legislation that has already been enacted.
- To support necessary fire service legislation when new legislation is necessary.
- To show proper respect for our fallen/deceased brethren fire fighters.
