Annual Fire Safety School Poster and Essay Contest
 
The fire safety poster and essay contest is open to all public and parochial schools in Westmoreland County.  Students in 4th and 5th grades can participate in the poster contest and 6th and 7th grades can participate in the essay contest.  With the help of our schools that allow teachers to provide students time to work on this program, the contest gives students the ability to express how they view fire safety and fire prevention within our communities and at home.
