Northmoreland Park, 548 acres in size, is the largest Westmoreland County Park. The area around Northmoreland Lake is a whirlwind of activity. The lake is stocked by the PA Fish Commission and includes both warm water fish and trout. The newest addition to the park is the walkway that now makes a complete circle around the lake.
The Northmoreland Boathouse, which offers food, drink, and boat rentals, sits on the north shore next to the beautiful multi-purpose Activity Center. The nearby playground, pavilion and the hiking and walking trails also help to make the lake the most popular destination for park visitors.

Facilities
The Activities Center is available for year round rental. It includes a small kitchen, indoor restrooms, and an air-conditioned reception hall/meeting room.
Northmoreland Lake. The lake, 17-acres in size, was developed to provide fishing and boating opportunities to the residents of northern Westmoreland County.
The Boathouse. Northmoreland Boathouse offers recreational boat rentals and is open April through October. Rowboat rentals start at $6.00 per hour, four & five seat pedal boats at $7.00 per hour, and group rates are available. Sandwiches, snacks, hot and cold beverages, fishing bait, ice and supplies can also be found at the Boathouse. Call 724.727.3899 for more information.

BMX Track. The BMX track is operated by the Westmoreland BMX Club and serves over 100 youth members. Club races and practice sessions are scheduled May through September with a State Qualifier race held in July of each year. Sport Fields. Five ball fields and six soccer fields are available at Northmoreland Park. There are also two tennis courts, a shuffleboard court, several creative play areas and a basketball court.
Model Radio-Controlled Airfield. Park visitors will see a wide variety of models take to the airways of Northmoreland Park. The Northmoreland Park R.C. Airplane Club operates the model airfield at the park.
Hunting. Portions of the park are open for hunting.
Pavilion Rental. Northmoreland Park has eleven (11) pavilions located throughout the park, which will accommodate groups up to 200. For information call 724.830.3950.
