Bridgeport Dam

Bridgeport Dam is a multi-purpose flood control dam on Jacob’s Creek.  The park offers fishing, hunting, and nature study opportunities.  There are also soccer fields on the spillway of the dam.

The PA Fish Commission manages the fishery under conservation regulations.  The permanent water pool is 70 acres in size and includes a boat launch.

 
Directions
 

From Points East and West:  Take Route 31 towards the village of Bridgeport east of Mt. Pleasant. Turn right onto Bridgeport St. and proceed 1.3 miles to a four way stop sign. Turn left here onto Water St. The park entrance is straight ahead on the right hand side.

From Points North and South: Follow Rt. 119 to Rt. 31 East. Take Route 31 towards the village of Bridgeport. Turn right onto Bridgeport St. and proceed 1.3 miles to a four way stop sign. Turn left here onto Water St. The park entrance is straight ahead on the right hand side.
