Organized Group Camping
Open to organized groups such as boy scouts, girl scouts, church youth groups, and biking groups, our Westmoreland County parks offer camping areas to spend the night. No individual or family camping is permitted. Each overnight camping area holds up to 50 people and has a fire ring (firewood will be provided). Potable water and restrooms are available at some parks, but there are no showers or shelters. All County rules and ordinances apply (view them here).

 In-County Groups  $20 per night
 Out-of-County Groups  $40 per night

Cedar Creek Park:
4 Group Camping areas (A, B, C, D) are located along the Youghiogheny River (Park Map). Also at Cedar Creek is the Trekker Campground, affiliated with the Great Allegheny Passage Trail. This campsite is free for anyone to use and is on a first come, first serve basis.

Twin Lakes Park:
Areas available behind Pavilions 3 and 4 and behind Pavilion 5 (Park Map)

Mammoth Park:
Organized Group Camping area near Pavilion 7 (Park Map)

Northmoreland Park:
Camping area behind Ball Field #5 (Park Map)
