  • All motions / petitions are scheduled by the judicial chambers
  • Attorneys must fax a copy of the motion / petition to the judicial chambers to (724) 830-3930
  • Judicial staff will contact the filing attorney to schedule the motion / petition
  • Scheduling orders (including consented-to continuance orders) may be dropped off at chambers for signature
  • Consented motions must be verified by signature or stated within said motion by all parties and may be dropped off at chambers for signature

  • Contested motions are heard on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. with proper advance notice to all parties.
  • Uncontested motions / petitions, scheduling orders, and consent orders may be dropped off at chambers for signature. All uncontested motions / petitions and consent orders must be verified by signature of all parties or stated within the motion
  • Emergency petitions are to be brought to chambers. If the court deems necessary, a date for an expedited hearing will be schedule before the court. After the time and date are assigned, the filing attorney / party will give notice to the defending party and/or counsel of the expedited hearing date

  • Schedules contested motions Tuesday through Thursday at 8:45 a.m.
  • Contested motions must be scheduled four days in advance with proper notice to all parties. Please call (724) 853-2201 to schedule
  • Attorneys must fax a copy of the contested motion / petition to the judicial chambers to (724) 830-3819
  • Consented motions can be presented to the court at any time

  • Contested motions must be scheduled four days in advance with proper notice to all parties. Please call (724) 830-3814 to schedule.
  • Attorneys must fax (724) 853-2208 a copy or drop off for review emergency motions to the judicial chambers, which will be scheduled, if appropriate.
  • Consented motions can be presented to the court at any time for review and signature.
  • For any matters scheduled to be heard during motions court, please allow five minutes to sign in at the lectern outside of the Courtroom and indicate whether the motion is contested or uncontested. Uncontested motions shall receive priority.
