The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Awareness Committee is a group initiated in 2011 comprised of advocates from many corners of Westmoreland County including - but not limited to - Program Specialists, Supports Coordinators, provider representatives, family members, and community volunteers.
What do we do? We plan events to celebrate with the IDD community each year in the month of March (IDD Awarenesss Month). Promoting awareness, acceptance, and respect are some of our goals.

The purpose of the open house is to raise awareness about the CASA program and to answer any questions you may have. Current CASA volunteers will be on hand to give a first hand account of what it is like to advocate for abused and neglected children.
