Pad Ready Sites

The Latest Trend in Industrial Park Development

Westmoreland County has developed four industrial parks that offer a wide selection of available properties, including eight pad-ready sites. These parks, Westmoreland Technology Park I, Westmoreland Technology Park II, and Westmoreland Distribution Park North are part of a regional employment center that surrounds RIDC Westmoreland multi-tenant facility (former Sony Technology Center) located near New Stanton. The fourth park being Westmoreland Business and Research Park is located in the northern section of the county.

The pad sites range in size from 6 to 31 acres with a finished grade of 3% or less and are currently being marketed at a very reasonable price.

Completed with available public utilities, the various pads are essentially shovel-ready and the largest site, a 31-acre pad, could accommodate a building over 500,000 square feet with parking and maneuvering facilities.

Adding to the amenities of the New Stanton location is visibility to U.S. Route 119 and accessibility to the county's Westmoreland Logistics Park - Rail Freight Intermodal Terminal. For companies with a need for rail service, this world-class terminal has been promoting less expensive, more fuel efficient and more environmentally friendly intermodal transportation via three Class I railroads to ports across the country.
